RESOLUTION NO. 8648 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO <br /> KATHY BEDNAR, MOUNDS VIEW POLICE RECORDS/EVIDENCE TECHNICIAN <br /> WHEREAS, Kathy Bednar submitted her resignation for retirement and her last day <br /> of employment was September 30, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 585.15 hours; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 332.11 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kathy Bednar's current rate of pay is $24.56 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel <br /> Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 585.15 hours x <br /> 65% x her hourly rate of $24.56 = $9,341.33 into Kathy Bednar's RHSP; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 3.45 and 3.47 of the Mounds View <br /> Personnel Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be <br /> 332.11 hours x her hourly rate of $24.56 = $8,156.62 to her RHSP; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $9,341.33 into Kathy Bednar's <br /> RHSP in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves a one-time payout of vacation time not to exceed $8,156.62 to her RHSP in <br /> accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> Adopted this 24th day of October, 2016. <br /> , tc- ./:, / <br /> oe Fla -rty, i - , • <br /> ATTEST: <br /> c+6,Ap,/,‘_,I, ti <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
