RESOLUTION NO. 8689 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR JEFFREY MARTIN MOUNDS VIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, Jeffrey Martin resigned from the Mounds View Police Department effective December 15, 2016; and WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick time is 217.0; and WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 57.29 hours; and WHEREAS,the balance of accrued and unused compensatory time is 24.50 hours; and WHEREAS, Jeffrey Martin's current rate of pay is $31.33 per hour; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 217.0 accrued/unused sick hours x 50% x his hourly rate of$31.33 =$3,399.31 into Mr. Martin's Retirement Health Savings Plan (RHSP); and WHEREAS, in accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 57.29 accrued/unused vacation hours x his hourly rate of$31.33 = $1,794.90; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused compensatory time will be 24.50 accrued/unused compensatory hours x his hourly rate of$31.33 = $767.59. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a one-time payout of sick time to Jeffrey Martin not to exceed $3,399.31 into Mr. Martin's RHSP account, in accordance with LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a one- time cash payout of vacation and compensatory time to Jeffrey Martin not to exceed $2,562.49, in accordance the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement.
