RESOLUTION NO. 8690 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE HIRE OF SHERRI EISENBRAUN TO THE <br /> PERMIT TECHNICIAN POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Permit Technician <br /> position was advertised; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff interviewed eight (8) qualified candidates and conducted second <br /> interviews on two (2) candidates; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sherri Eisenbraun's skills and experience were determined to most closely <br /> match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Eisenbraun would start at Step 4 of the Pay Scale at$27.00/hour; with <br /> an increase to Step 5 of the salary range (currently$28.42/hour) after one year of employment; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, all step wage increases are subject to satisfactory performance evaluations; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, background checks on Ms. Eisenbraun are incomplete, and therefore, hiring <br /> would be contingent on satisfactory background and credit checks; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Eisenbraun would begin employment on or about January 17, 2017. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council appoints <br /> Sherri Eisenbraun to the position of Permit Technician in the Community Development <br /> Department, contingent on satisfactory background and credit checks, with employment to <br /> commence on or about January 17, 2017. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the hire of Sherri <br /> Eisenbraun to the full-time, non-exempt, non-union position of Permit Technician at Step 4 of the <br /> pay scale (currently $27.00/hour). <br /> Adopted this 3rd day of January, 2017. <br /> 44,W kG(11-1-1 <br /> Carol Mueller, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: j. twh <br /> rJG <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
