RESOLUTION NO. 8785 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OR RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING A THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE BUSINESS LICENSE TO ERIC RAUTIO LOCATED AT 8373 GROVELAND COURT WHEREAS, the City Code requires that massage therapist must be licensed in the City; and WHEREAS, the City Code requires that the applicant have one year of experience practicing massage therapy as established by an affidavit and can document that the applicant has completed seventy (70) hours of resident study and an additional four hundred (400) hours of certified therapeutic massage training from a recognized school; and WHEREAS, Eric Rautio, owner of Eric Roy Massage is locating his business in his home, located at 8373 Groveland Court in Mounds View; and WHEREAS, Eric Rautio is applying for a Therapeutic Massage Enterprise License and Individual Therapeutic Massage License to practice therapeutic massage at his home located at 8373 Goveland Court; and WHEREAS, Eric Rautio has completed the necessary application materials, provided proof of massage training hours, proof of legal status to work in the United States by providing a copy of his United States Passport, and provided evidence of liability insurance coverage in accordance with the City Code; and WHEREAS, Eric Rautio submitted an affidavit which states that he has at least one (1) year of practicing therapeutic massage therapy; and WHEREAS, Eric Rautio has a satisfactory criminal background check report by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension; and WHEREAS, Eric Rautio is compliant with all City and Zoning Code regulations. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, a Therapeutic Massage Enterprise License and Individual Therapeutic Massage License is approved to Eric Rautio, Eric Roy Massage, located at 8373 Groveland Court. NOW, MAY IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED, that these licenses will expire on December 31, 2017.
