RESOLUTION NO. 8806 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br /> JIM HESS, IT/ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN <br /> WHEREAS, Jim Hess retired as the IT/Engineering Technician for the City of <br /> Mounds View; his last day of employment was July 26, 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Hess is <br /> eligible for a cash payout of his vacation hours and is eligible to receive 65% of his sick <br /> leave hours deposited into his RHSP; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Hess' balance of accrued and unused vacation is 97.64 hours; and <br /> his sick leave balance is 634.76 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Hess' rate of pay upon retirement was $36.89 per hour. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves severance to Jim Hess consistent with the Mounds View Personnel Manual as <br /> follows: <br /> Hours Hourly rate Payout <br /> Vacation Hours 97.64 $36.89 $3,601.94 into RHSP <br /> 65% of Sick Leave 412.59 $36.89 $15,220.45 into RHSP <br /> Total Severance: $18,822.39 <br /> Adopted this 14th day of August, 2017. <br /> 41,1 <br /> Carol A.
