APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, January 7, 2013, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Monday, January 7, 2013, agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> A y e s – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />Dave Shoop, 2186 Lambert Avenue, expressed concern with the number of semi-trucks using <br />Quincy Street. He indicated this heavy traffic was wearing away the road and creating safety <br />concerns. He presented the Council with a petition signed by every neighbor on Quincy Street <br />and requested the Council look into this matter. Mr. Shoop suggested signs be posted to <br />discourage truck traffic. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked Mr. Shoop for bringing this concern to the City and indicated the <br />Council would pass along this concern to Staff. He suggested Economic Development Specialist <br />Steinmetz draft a letter to business owners near Quincy Street to ensure they understand this <br />roadway was not meant for truck traffic. <br /> <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> A. Oath of Office for Mayor Joe Flaherty <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson administered the oath of office to Mayor Joe Flaherty. Those present <br />offered a round of applause. <br />
