SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />A. Presentation of the Spring Lake Park, Blaine, Mounds View Fire <br />Department Audit by Chief Nyle Zikmund <br /> <br />Chief Zikmund presented the Council with the fire department audit. He noted this was his 19th <br />year as Chief of the Spring Lake Park, Blaine and Mounds View Fire Department. He explained <br />a qualified or clean rating was given to the department for year end 2012. Chief Zikmund <br />indicated Tim Hill, a representative from Mounds View, was elected President of the Fire Board. <br />He then reviewed the call volume for the City of Mounds View. It was noted the call volume in <br />the City has plateaued over the past few years. Chief Zikmund invited the Council to visit Fire <br />Station #3 to view the new Command Simulation Program on June 17th. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty asked for further information on the makeup of the Mounds View, Blaine and <br />Spring Lake Park fire department.
