SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution 8117, Authorizing the Purchase of a New Electronic Message Sign <br />for City Hall. <br /> <br />Economic Development Specialist Steinmetz stated on June 10th and July 1st the Council <br />discussed the purchase of a new electric message and monument sign for City Hall. On July 1st <br />the Council directed staff to continue discussing this project with DeMar Signs. She commented <br />a representative from DeMar Signs was present this evening to take questions from the Council. <br />She then provided a brief recap on the project and recommended the Council authorize the <br />purchase of a new electronic message sign for City Hall in an amount not to exceed $60,000. <br />
