Mounds View City Council January 11, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated she would continue her service on the SBM Fire Relief <br />Association. <br /> <br />Council Member Hull and Council Member Meehlhause were willing to serve on the Human <br />Resources Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would like to remain appointed to the Minnesota <br />Metro North Tourism Group. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Council Member Hull (alternate) would continue on the <br />YMCA Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty reported he would serve as the NSCC appointee and Finance Director Beer <br />would remain the alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause would continue to act as the Commission and Committee Liaison. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Mayor Flaherty (alternate) would remain the representatives <br />for Northeast Youth and Family Services. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller and Mayor Flaherty (alternate) would serve the City for the League of <br />Minnesota Cities. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty would remain the City’s representative for the North Metro Mayor’s Association <br />with Council Member Gunn acting as the alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Council Member Mueller (alternate) were both willing to <br />continue serving on the Mounds View Business Council. It was noted this organization would be <br />moving to quarterly business meetings. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn and Council Member Hull (alternate) agreed to be the City’s <br />representatives for the North Metro Corridor Coalition. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty and City Administrator Ericson (alternate) would remain the appointees for <br />Metro Cities. <br /> <br />Council Member Hull and Council Member Gunn (alternate) would continue their service on the <br />Anoka County Fire Protection Board. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8500, <br />Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as Representatives for City Commissions and <br />Other Organizations. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
