Mounds View City Council January 11, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 6 <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty requested further information on the 2015 Pay Equity Report. Assistant City <br />Administrator Crane reported the State requires all municipalities to complete a pay equity report <br />every three years. This report proves there are no pay disparities between male and female job <br />classifications. She was pleased to report that after reviewing the 2015 report the City was <br />compliant. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller discussed the changes the League of Minnesota Cities was proposing <br />for smaller municipalities. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt 8502, Approving the <br />2015 Pay Equity Report. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> C. Resolution 8503, Approving Revisions to Criteria for Citizen of the Year <br />Nominations. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause encouraged residents and businesses to submit their nominations <br />for citizen of the year. He requested further information on the changes that were made to the <br />nomination criteria. Assistant City Administrator Crane explained the eligibility criteria was <br />amended and nominations would now be accepted for people that work or contribute in some <br />way to the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt 8503, Approving <br />Revisions to Criteria for Citizen of the Year Nominations. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull.
