APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, February 8, 2016, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Approve the Monday, February 8, 2016, agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />Edith Johnson, 7580 Knollwood Drive, asked if the Council would be further pursuing organized <br />trash collection. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Mueller reported after further discussion at the Council’s February 1 st worksession <br />meeting, the Council will not be pursuing organized trash collection. <br /> <br />Ms. Johnson thanked the Council for listening to the public regarding this matter. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson stated it would be advisable for the Council to take a motion stating <br />the Council would no longer be pursuing organized trash collection. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To terminate the 60-day exclusive negotiation process with <br />trash haulers and discontinue all further discussions regarding organized trash collection in the <br />City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Mueller appreciated the way the City Council reviewed and addressed this matter.
