Resolution 8560, Approving the Appointment of Kathryn Ann Smith to the <br />Police Civil Service Commission Effective June 1, 2016. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked Kathryn Ann Smith for her willingness to serve on the Police Civil <br />Service Commission. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8560, <br />Approving the Appointment of Kathryn Ann Smith to the Police Civil Service Commission <br />Effective June 1, 2016. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause noted the Police Civil Service Commission still had one more <br />opening. Those interested in serving on this capacity were encouraged to contact City Hall for <br />further information. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. March 14, 2016, City Council Meeting Minutes. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 2, Line 23 stating this line should <br />read for coming to the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 2, Line 13, correcting the spelling <br />of Knight Crawlers. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 3, Line 14, removing the word the. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 5, Line 40, indicating this line <br />should read proposed project timeline. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 9, Line 8 and 9, should be reworded <br />to read those interested in volunteering on the Charter Commission should contact City Hall for <br />further information. <br />
