MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />The pledge of allegiance was led by Boy Scout Troop #93 member Jack Cibuzar. <br /> <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Gunn, Hull, Meehlhause, Mueller <br /> <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, June 27, 2016, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Monday, June 27, 2016, agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br /> Mike Read, 2208 Lois Drive, thanked the Mounds View Police Department for their fantastic <br />work. He discussed an incident that occurred in his neighborhood and he was amazed by the <br />work conducted by the Police Officers and for the safety they provided to the City’s residents. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked Mr. Read for contacting the Police Department with his concerns. He <br />explained he would pass along this gratitude to the Police Department. <br /> <br />Tom Winiecki, 2748 Sherwood Road, expressed concern with the traffic at the intersection of <br />Sherwood Road and Red Oak. He feared traffic was moving altogether too fast and was failing <br />to stop at the stop signs altogether. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty understood these concerns and reported this concern would be brought to the <br />Police Department. <br />
