MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Gunn, Hull, Meehlhause, Mueller <br /> <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, April 28, 2014, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Monday, April 28, 2014, agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />Cam Obert, 8315 Greenwood Drive, expressed concern with the City’s inability to reign in <br />nuisance code violations. He questioned why garbage cans were allowed to be placed in front of <br />homes in Mounds View. He believed that garbage cans should not be visible from the street. He <br />encouraged the City to assist with these matters as home values were being impacted. He did not <br />approve of commercial or recreational vehicles/trailers being parked in driveways and yards. He <br />recommended the City improve its code enforcement efforts as it would enhance the entire <br />community. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked Mr. Obert for his comments. He reported the City has improved its code <br />enforcement efforts over the past three or four years. He discussed the technology investments <br />that the City has made as well. <br /> <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> A. Audit Presentation, Aaron Nielsen, CPA, Principal at MMKR Certified <br />Public Accountants <br />
