Mounds View City Council March 10, 2014 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller encouraged staff to find grants to replace the City’s AED’s. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause recommended the overage on the expense be covered by the <br />forfeiture funds. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty recommended that half of the Ford Interceptor expense come out of the forfeiture <br />fund. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller believed this to be a reasonable compromise. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8226, <br />Approving Purchase of One 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle and One 2014 Chevy <br />Impala Sedan Administrative Vehicle and Equipment Setups, with half of the funding for the <br />Ford Interceptor expense to come out of the forfeiture fund. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Resolution Schedule Public Hearing for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, <br />2014, to Approve a Temporary On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for <br />Mounds View Festival in the Park to Allow Maxx’s Bar and Grill to Serve <br />Liquor during the August 16, 2014, Mounds View Festival in the Park. <br />B. Resolution 8225, Approving a Transfer of Ownership for a <br />Cigarette/Tobacco Business License located at Sam’s Market, 2408 County <br />Road I. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Consent Agenda as amended, removing <br />Item 8B. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause.
