Mounds View City Council December 14, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 5, Line 20 noting the sentence <br />should read in further detail. <br /> <br />Council Member Hull requested a correction on Page 8, Line 3 stating exciting should be <br />changed to existing. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller requested a correction on Page 4, Line 5 noting a comma should be <br />added after the word case. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the November 9, 2015, City Council meeting <br />minutes as corrected. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported NYFS would be meeting on Wednesday. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause wished all residents, staff and members of the Council Happy <br />Holidays. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller stated on Thursday she would be attending the League of Minnesota <br />Cities Board meeting. This would be the Board’s last meeting of 2015. She wished everyone a <br />blessed holiday season and a Happy New Year. <br /> <br />Mayo r Flaherty reviewed an article from the Star Tribune regarding a redevelopment site in St. <br />Louis Park. He indicated TIF was used for this project and anticipated The Beard Group would <br />be doing the same for Phase II of the Crossroad Pointe project. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson reported Ramsey County sent out letters to property owners <br />along County Road I stating this roadway would be rehabilitated in 2016. He noted pedestrian <br />ramps and signal work would also be completed. He discussed the proposed project further with <br />the Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller requested that staff speak with the County about the City’s parade <br />route for Festival in the Park to ensure the area was free and clear of construction for the event. <br />Public Works Director Erickson indicated he would speak with the County. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller suggested a neighborhood meeting be held regarding the project. <br />Public Works Director Erickson explained this was a County led project and letters were sent to <br />property owners. It was his understanding the County would not be holding any neighborhood <br />meetings.
