Mounds View City Council January 5, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />reviewed the appropriate severance payout for Mr. DeBar’s sick leave and vacation time. He <br />recommended the Council approve a severance payout of $23,561.28. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8353, <br />Approving Severance for Public Works Director Nick DeBar. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller wished Nick DeBar all the best and thanked him for his dedicated <br />service to the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty agreed and thanked Mr. DeBar for his many contributions to the City. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. Resolution 8354, Accepting Miscellaneous Cash Donations for 2014. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer explained that following State Statute the City had to accept any cash <br />donations made to the City through a Resolution. He reviewed the cash donations made in 2014 <br />and recommended the Council adopt Resolution 8354. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8354, <br />Accepting Miscellaneous Cash Donations for 2014. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller thanked Council Member Gunn for taking on the K9 demonstration at <br />Festival in the Park. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked all of the residents that contributed funds to the K9 unit in <br />2014. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8. Next Council Work Session: Immediately following this meeting <br />Next Council Meeting: Monday, January 12, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />9.
