Mounds View City Council May 11, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 12 <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller commented Discover Aviation Days would be held on May 30 th and <br />May 31 st at the Anoka County Airport. The hanger dance was scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on May <br />30 th . <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported she attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Bel Rae Senior <br />Living this afternoon. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause updated the Council on the events taking place at Northeast Youth <br />and Family Services. He was pleased to report that the group was improving its financial <br />situation as operating costs are down. He noted he would be attending another NYFS meeting on <br />Friday, May 15 th . <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained he attended the recent NYFS Leadership Luncheon <br />fundraiser. He was pleased with the attendance at this event. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he attended the Ramsey County Police Memorial event and <br />recommended the Council attend this event in the future. He appreciated the speech given by the <br />keynote speaker discussing officer safety. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported he would be attending a Twin Cities Gateway Board <br />meeting on Wednesday, May 20 th . <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty indicated he attended a North Suburban Cable Commission meeting last week. <br />The group approved the 2014 audit and continues discussion surrounding the CenturyLink <br />franchise. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson reported he and Brian Beeman would be meeting with several <br />potential developers regarding the Crossroads Point property on Tuesday, May 12 th . <br /> <br />C.
