Mounds View City Council July 27, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Massage and would be located at 2402 County Road I. Staff noted that all requirements of City <br />Code had been met by Ms. Lee and all fees had been paid. Staff recommended approval of the <br />therapeutic massage license request. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller asked the hours of operation for Ms. Lee’s massage business. Ms. Lee <br />reported that she worked from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned if any of Ms. Lee’s clients would be following her to her new <br />practice. Ms. Lee anticipated this would be the case. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8440, <br />a Resolution to Consider a Therapeutic Massage License for Bodyflow Massage located at 2402 <br />County Road I. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty welcomed Ms. Lee to the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />D. Resolution 8437, Approving the Remodel of Community Center Offices and <br />Prep Kitchen. <br /> <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council approve the remodel of the Community <br />Center offices and prep kitchen. He discussed the remodeling plans in further detail with the <br />Council along with the estimates received from contractors. Staff recommended that the Council <br />approve the remodel. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller asked if the items in the storage room had another area to be housed <br />since this area would become the prep kitchen. Public Works Supervisor Peterson commented <br />that an area behind the gym has been cleaned out to store these items. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8437, <br />Approving the Remodel of Community Center Offices and Prep Kitchen. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked staff for providing the Council with information on how <br />the project would be funded. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />E. Resolution 8438, Approve the Purchase and Installation of an Under Body <br />Plow on Unit #445 and Upgrade Plow Controls on Unit #447. <br /> <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson stated Public Works was always seeking ways to improve its <br />services and to create efficiencies when it comes to snow and ice removal. He explained how an <br />underbody scraper would greatly assist decreasing the amount of ice on the streets while also <br />reducing the need for salt.
