RESOLUTION 8821 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Approving a Lease Agreement with Neopost/MailFinance for a Postage Machine <br />WHEREAS, in 2012, the City leased a postage machine though <br />Neopost/MailFinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the postage machine lease will expire at the end of September; and <br />WHEREAS, Neopost currently holds the state contract for postage machines; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has been satisfied with the service and function of the current <br />machine; and <br />WHEREAS, Neopost recommends a machine with the same capacity and <br />functionality given the volume of mail that the City processes; and <br />WHEREAS, Neopost proposes a lease of 60 months thru its financing entity <br />MailFinance with a monthly payment of 151.69 to be paid quarterly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes Staff to enter into a lease agreement with Neopost/MailFinance in the amount of <br />$151.69 per month, for a 60 month period, for a new postage machine, as indicated in the <br />attached lease agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, payment for this lease <br />agreement shall be funded by the Central Services Budget, 100-4160-4010. <br />Adopted this 11th day of September, 2017 <br />Carol A.
