Set a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m., September 25, 2017, to Consider the First <br />Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 937, an Ordinance Granting a Cable <br />Franchise to Comcast of Minnesota, Inc. <br />D. Resolution 8823, Authorizing the Advertisement of the Building Official <br />Position and Approving Temporary Inspection Services. <br />E. Resolution 8824, Adopting a Special Assessment Levy for Unpaid Sanitary <br />Sewer Line Repairs at 8071 Woodlawn Drive. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />David Piskorski, 7878 Woodlawn Drive, asked if the trees on the City-owned property along <br />Woodlawn Drive and Hillview would be removed. Interim Public Works Director Peterson <br />stated this lot would be thinned to make room for the power lines, but noted the lot would not be <br />clear cut. <br /> <br />8. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> A. Constitution Week Proclamation. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller read a proclamation in full for the record declaring September 17-23, 2017 to be <br />Constitution Week in the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />9. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. 6:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Consider Resolution 8826, Approving an Off <br />Sale 3.2 Liquor License for SNAP Market at 2408 County Road I. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council approve an Off Sale 3.2 liquor license for SNAP <br />Market which is located at 2408 County Road I. He reported the applicant has submitted all <br />necessary paperwork and fees. It was noted the license would expire on June 30, 2018. Staff <br />recommends approval of the request.
