REPORTS OF COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Meehlhause thanked Chair Johnson again for her years of service.
He also mentioned that this was his last EDC meeting as he was elected to the Mounds
View City Council. He stated the following: "1 truly enjoyed the 6 years that 1 served on the
EDC, and the opportunity to serve as Vice -Chair and as Chair for 2 years! Serving on the
EDC certainly helped prepare me to become a member of the City Council and Mounds
View Economic Development Authority, and helped me to understand the need for economic
development. Most importantly, 1 truly enjoyed working with the other EDC members. They
are resident and business representatives who are truly committed to Mounds View, and
want to see the community continue to move forward and continue to be a great community
to live in!"
Commissioner Helgemoe advertised the Twin Cities North Chamber's annual Gala on
Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Vadnais Height Commons.
