CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:31 a.m. by Chairperson Tom Field. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Members Present: Cindy Carlson, Tom Field, Torri Johnson, Wendy Marty, and Sean Walther. <br />Member Absent: Dr. Greg Belting and Stan McDonald <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Coordinator Aaron Parrish <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Walther/ N/A moved to approve the minutes for April 20th, 2001 as corrected: <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />There was no special business discussed <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports <br /> <br />Commissioner Carlson indicated that Western Bank might consider subdividing a portion of their existing <br />lot to accommodate further development. <br /> <br />B. NB~MV Chamber of Commerce Update <br /> <br />Chairperson Field indicated that the Chamber Golf outing was enjoyable. Commissioner Carlson <br />commented on the upcoming Business of the Year awards presentation and some organizational issues <br />currently being considered by the Chamber. <br /> <br />C. Report of Staff <br /> <br />1. Sale of 2625 County Highway 10: Coordinator Parrish informed the Commission that the EDA is in <br />the process of selling 2625 County Highway 10 to the Mounds View Animal Hospital. <br /> <br />2. Acquisition of 3016 County Road H2: Coordinator Parrish indicated that the EDA is in the process <br />of purchasing 3016 County Road H2. He indicated that the preliminary intention is to combine this <br />property with adjacent parcels for some type of residential infill development. <br /> <br />
