Call to Order: <br /> <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:12 p.m. by Chairperson Cindy Carlson. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call: <br /> <br />Members Present: Cindy Carlson, Tom Field, Rosemary Goff (Arrived Late), Wendy Marty, Julie <br />Olsen, Sean Walther, and EDA Liaison Dan Coughlin. <br />Members Absent: Dr. Gregory Belting <br />Staff Present: Community Development Director Rick Jopke and Economic Development <br />Coordinator Aaron Parrish. <br /> <br />3. Approval Of Minutes: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Walther/Marty moved to approve the minutes from August 26th, 1999. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />Commissioner Goff was not present at this time. <br /> <br />4. Special Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Cindy Carlson welcomed EDA Liaison Dan Coughlin and Economic Development <br />Coordinator Aaron Parrish. <br /> <br />5. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Election of 2000 Chairperson and Vice Chairperson <br /> <br />The Mounds View Municipal Code Chapter 408.07, Subdivision 1 entitled Economic <br />Development Commission, Organization states that "at the first regular meeting of the year, <br />the Commission shall appoint a chairperson from among its voting members and that this <br />appointment shall be subject to Authority approval and shall consist of a one year term". <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Carlson/Walther moved to approve the appointment of Tom Field as <br />Chairperson for 2000. <br /> <br />Motion Carried 5 ayes 0 nays <br /> <br />Commissioner Goff not present at this time. <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Walther/Marty moved to approve the appointment of Julie Olsen as Vice <br />Chairperson for 2000.
