CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Torri Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:40 a.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br /> Members Present: Jackie Entsminger, Jason Helgemoe, Torri Johnson, Stan McDonald <br />Members Absent: Greg Belting, Tom Field, David Fox <br /> <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Coordinator Aaron Backman <br />Others Present: Community Development Director Jim Ericson <br /> <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF EDC MINUTES: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Helgemoe moved and McDonald seconded the approval of the March 19, 2004 <br />EDC minutes. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 4 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Presentation by Dick Fast, formerly Business Services Specialist with the Minnesota Technology, <br />Inc. was cancelled due to his hospitalization. <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports: None <br /> <br />B. Report of EDA Liaison: None <br /> <br />C. TCN Chamber of Commerce Update: Backman highlighted two main events that occurred during <br />the past month. On April 22 a Multi-Chamber Business Expo was held at the new Atlantis Room <br />(the former nightclub area recently converted to meeting space) in the Mermaid. Roughly 60 <br />booths were present.
