CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br />Chairperson Greg Belting called the meeting to order at 7:40 a.m. In the absence of Torri Johnson, <br />Dr. Belting served as the chair for the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br /> Members Present: Greg Belting, Jackie Entsminger, Tom Field, Stan McDonald <br />Members Absent: Torri Johnson, David Fox , Jason Helgemoe <br /> <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Coordinator Aaron Backman <br />Others Present: None <br /> <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF EDC MINUTES: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: McDonald moved and Entsminger seconded the approval of the May 21, 2004 EDC <br />minutes. <br />Motion Carried: 4 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. No Special Business Scheduled during the meeting. A business tour is planned at the <br />conclusion of the regular meeting. <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports: None <br /> <br />B. Report of EDA Liaison: None <br /> <br />C. TCN Chamber of Commerce Update: With the potential for avoiding property taxes, the <br />Chamber is looking at revising their lease at the Mounds View Community Center. The lease <br />agreement would be with the City instead of the Mermaid as it is currently. During the last week <br />of June the City Council authorized staff to revise the TCN Chamber’s agreement.
