CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Gary Meehlhause called the meeting to order at 7:52 a.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br /> Members Present: Jackie Entsminger, Tom Field, Jason Helgemoe, Jerry Jaker, Torri Johnson <br />Members Absent: Greg Belting, Gary Meehlhause <br /> <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Coordinator Aaron Backman <br />Others Present: None. <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF EDC MINUTES: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Johnson moved and Entsminger seconded the approval of the November 15, 2006 <br />EDC minutes. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. None. <br /> <br />5. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Review Revised Draft of M.V. Business Toolbox (Resource Guide). The EDA did encourage the <br />Economic Development Coordinator to revisit that. . . Belting moved to recommend approval of the <br />Mounds View Business Toolbox as presented by the M.V. EDA. Entsminger seconded. Motion <br />approved 5 to 0. A second motion was discussed regarding the availability of the M.V. Business <br />Toolbox. Belting moved to recommend to the City of Mounds View that the M.V. Business Toolbox <br />be placed on the Mounds View website. Johnson seconded. Motion approved 5 to 0. <br /> <br />B. Review Business Improvement Partnership Loan Request for The Station. The EDA did encourage <br />the Economic Development Coordinator to revisit that. . . Motion by Johnson to approve the <br />Business Improvement Partnership Loan Request of $24,900.00 for The Station. Belting seconded. <br />Motion approved 5 to 0.
