RESOLUTION 8851 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A MOBILE COLUMN HOIST FOR THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, during the design phase of the Public Works Facility it appeared <br />possible that the cost of the total project may exceed the budgeted amount. As a result, <br />Staff and the designer removed some features in the building construction; and, <br />WHEREAS, the items were included in the overall project budget but would be <br />purchased outside of the contract by City Staff as a cost savings measure; and, <br />WHEREAS, one of the items is the Mobile Column Hoist used by the Public Works <br />Mechanic; and, <br />WHEREAS, Staff has obtained a quote from Pump and Meter Service of Hopkins <br />MN for the Rotary MCH Flex 419 liftwith some options for operations for $53,419.93 from <br />the NJPA contract. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a MCH Flex 419 Mobile <br />Column Hoist from Pump and Meter Service of Hopkins MN as noted on quote <br />#2017477 from Pump and Meter Service for a total of $53,419.93. <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or <br />convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of October, 2017 <br />Carol A Muller, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle �mund/lntenm City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
