CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />SECTION 502, RELATING TO MOVIE THEATERS QUALIFYING FOR ON -SALE <br />LIQUOR LICENSES; PLANNING CASE TX2017-001 <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Chapter 502 of the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the <br />striek material as follows: <br />502.03: LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS: <br />Subd 1 On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor Licenses: On -sale intoxicating liquor licenses may be <br />issued for the sale of intoxicating liquors in hotels, restaurants, bowling centers, <br />movie theaters and exclusive liquor stores within the number authorized by this <br />Chapter. In addition, an onsale intoxicating liquor license may be issued, if <br />approved by the Commissioner to a club which has been in existence for three (3) <br />years or more. A license issued to a club shall be for the sale of intoxicating <br />liquors to members and bona fide guests only except that a club may permit the <br />general public to participate in a wine tasting conducted at the club under <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A.419. The City may issue the amount of on -sale <br />intoxicating liquor licenses as authorized in Minnesota Statutes, Section <br />340A.413, subdivision 1. <br />Subd. 4. Sunday Sales Licenses: Special on -sale intoxicating liquor licenses for the sale of <br />intoxicating liquor on Sunday separate from a regular on -sale intoxicating liquor <br />license issued pursuant to Section 502.02 of this Chapter may be issued to hotels, <br />restaurants, bowling centers, movie theaters, or clubs, which hold an on -sale <br />intoxicating liquor license and have a seating capacity for at least thirty (30) <br />persons. Intoxicating liquor must be consumed on the premises in conjunction <br />with the sale of food. <br />
