RESOLUTION NO. 8890 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE TIME 4 HOURS ADDITIONAL COMP/FLEX TIME <br />IN RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE FOR 2017 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View places high priority and value on its <br />professional staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a disproportionate number of vacancies occurred in 2017 due to a <br />variety of reasons; and <br />WHEREAS, this placed additional burden on the remaining staff; and <br />WHEREAS, staff met these challenges with enthusiasm, professionalism and <br />dedication; and <br />WHEREAS, the city council publicly expressed their appreciation at their December <br />4, 2017 meeting and wishes to reinforce and further recognize their commitment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves awarding all employees who worked full time for at least 9 months in calendar <br />year 2017 and were still working at the end of the year an additional 4 hours of <br />compensation or flex time. This is a one-time allocation that must be used by July 1, 2018 <br />and have supervisor approval for the scheduled time off. <br />Adopted this 8'" day of January, 2018. <br />Carol A.
