RESOLUTION NO. 8795 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A Resolution Approving the Hire of Benjamin Geisbauer <br />to the Position of Public Works Maintenance Worker (Sanitary Sewer Division) <br />in the <br />Public Works Department <br />WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker (Sanitary Sewer Division) position was advertised; and <br />WHEREAS, six (6) applications were received for the position and three (3) were <br />chosen for interview; and, <br />WHEREAS, Benjamin Geisbauer's skills and experience were determined to most <br />closely match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer's reference checks, criminal background check, and <br />driver's license checks are complete and satisfactory; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer will be a member of the Public Works Collective <br />Bargaining Unit, and would be subject to the established job classification system with <br />regard to the pay scale as set forth in the Public Works Labor Agreement, and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer qualifies for Level A pay scale based on the criteria set <br />forth by the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement, which is currently <br />established at $25.46 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer would begin employment on or about Tuesday, August <br />15, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer would be subject to a twelve (12) month probationary <br />period as stated in the Public Works Labor Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer's employment with the City would be contingent on a <br />satisfactory pre-employment exam. . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />appoints Benjamin Geisbauer to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker <br />Sanitary Sewer Division) with employment to commence on or about Monday, August 14, <br />2017.
