RESOLUTION 8825 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A MARKETING AGREEMENT WITH UTILITY SERVICE PARTNERS SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the "Service Line Warranty Program" offered by <br />the National League of Cities and administered by Utility Service Partners, Inc. (USP); and <br />WHEREAS, this is a voluntary insurance program for homeowners to participate in; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has been asked to approve a marketing agreement with USP so USP <br />can provide marketing information to homeowners about the program; and <br />WHEREAS, homeowners may not be aware of their responsibility for their sanitary sewer <br />service line repair costs; and <br />WHEREAS, this is a private transaction between USP and the homeowner the City will not <br />be involved in administering the program and the service agreement, all transactions, <br />communications and contact will be with Utility Service Partners and their authorized <br />representatives. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />does hereby approve the attached marketing agreement with Utility Service Partners, Inc. to offer <br />the voluntary "Service Line Warranty Program" to residential homeowners. <br />Adopted this 25th day of September, 2017 <br />Carol A.
