RESOLUTION NO. 8831 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR BUILDING OFFICAL SERVICES <br />WITH THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute §3268.133 requires each municipality to <br />designate a building official to administer the state building code; and, <br />WHEREAS, the position of Mounds View Building Official was vacated, effective <br />September 22, 2017; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has authorized advertisement for the <br />position of Mounds View Building Official (Resolution 8823); and, <br />WHEREAS, the City is in need of an interim Building Official until the permanent <br />position is filled; and, <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City contract with Rum River <br />Construction Consultants (Andrew Schreder, Certified Building Official (CBO), License <br /># B0002536) for such services, the terms of which are included in the Agreement; and, <br />WHEREAS, an Agreement for Building Official services has been reviewed by <br />the City Attorney; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINNALY RESOLVED THAT, the City of Mounds <br />View enters into an Agreement for Building Official Services with Rum River <br />Construction Services (Andrew Schreder, CBO), effective September 25, 2017, and <br />paid from Account #100-4180-3030. <br />Adopted this 25th day of September 2017. <br />Carol A.
