• Complimentary Service and Equipment to Public Buildings. <br />o Drop to additional public buildings 250 to 500 feet depending on whether <br />it is aerial or underground. (limited to 5 additional buildings) <br />0 7 boxes per City Hall and 3 boxes at other locations per Franchise and <br />Side Letter. <br />• New Remote Cablecasting Provisions. <br />o Comcast will provide equipment to allow for remote cablecasting using <br />the Comcast public internet. <br />7. Network Services to the Commission and Member Cities. <br />Comcast will continue to provide PEG Video Origination Feeds from Member <br />Cities to the Commission. <br />o Through the old I -Net or alternative means — same functionality. <br />Comcast will continue to allow PEG Video Sharing with neighboring <br />jurisdictions. <br />o Through the old PRISMA network or alternative means — same <br />functionality. <br />Enterprise Services Option. <br />o For Member Cities and Commission using the old I -Net for phone and <br />data services. <br />o Roseville, Arden Hills, Lauderdale, and North Oaks. <br />• Others can join as needed. <br />o Competitive Pricing. <br />o Can use fiber I -Net through December 31, 2017. <br />o City of Roseville will coordinate data and phone needs with Member <br />Cities. <br />o Most Favored Nations clause — Comcast has agreed to match pricing <br />and services given to any other Twin Cities municipal entities. <br />8. Level Playing Field <br />• Requirement to treat competitors similarly related to Franchise Fees, PEG <br />Funding, PEG Channels, and Customer Service. <br />o Side Agreement that current CenturyLink Franchise is treated <br />similarly. <br />Standard FCC customer service provisions and reporting. <br />10. Mutually acceptable audit and dispute resolution procedures and provisions. <br />11. Indemnification. Comcast will provide indemnification from any litigation arising <br />from the passage of the Franchise for a period of 6 months following the Effective Date <br />of the Franchise. <br />
