Attached is Resolution 8129, which authorizes severance to Mr. Anderson in accordance with Sections 3.45 and 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. Sections 3.45 and 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual are also attached for your reference. Discussion Resolution 8129 provides a payout of Mr. Anderson's accrued/unused sick time. In accordance with Section 3.45 Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Anderson is authorized a sick time payout totaling $2,748.35 to his Retirement Health Savings Plan. This is calculated as 202.98 accrued/unused sick hours times 50% times his hourly rate of $27.08. Resolution 8129 provides a payout of Mr. Anderson's accrued/unused vacation time. In accordance with Sections 3.45 and 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Anderson is authorized a vacation time payout totaling $1,010.35. This is calculated as 37.31 accrued/unused vacation hours times his hourly salary of $27.08. According to Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, 50% of this vacation time payout total will be placed into Mr. Anderson's Retirement Health Savings Plan. Resolution 8129 provides a payout of Mr. Anderson's unused compensatory time. In accordance with Section 3.47, Mr. Anderson is authorized a compensatory time payout totaling $3.25. This is calculated as .12 unused hours times his hourly rate of $27.08.
