MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Gunn, Hull, Meehlhause, Mueller <br />NOT PRESENT: None. <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />A. Monday, August 26, 2013, City Council Agenda. <br />City Administrator Ericson requested an item be added to the agenda, Resolution 8147, under <br />Special Order of Business. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Approve the Monday, August 26, 2013, agenda as <br />amended. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Karey Love, 7900 Sunnyside Road, expressed concern with the noise levels in his neighborhood, <br />relating to a rock concert that took place near his home. He explained he called the police due to <br />the noise that was generated from the event. He questioned why the City did not require a permit <br />for such an event. He recommended that the Council require permits for such events in the <br />future and not allow them in residential neighborhoods. <br />Mayor Flaherty understood Mr. Love's concerns and stated the Council would discuss this matter <br />at a future work session meeting. <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution 8147, a Resolution of Appreciation Recognizing the Festival in the <br />Park Committee. <br />
