The purpose is to recognize and <br />promote the importance of manufacturing to the State's <br />economy. <br />Bauer Welding Tour <br />Tuesday, November 5, 2013 <br />8:30am — 9:30am <br />2159 Mustang Drive <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />In honor of 2013 Minnesota Manufacturers Week, the City of <br />Mounds View invites you to attend a tour of Bauer Welding <br />& Metal Fabricators on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at <br />8:30am. <br />This will be the first tour since Bauer's plant Boor was <br />completely reorganized to Increase work Bow, (lean <br />manufacturing(. Also on display will be their new BLM Fiber <br />Optic Tube laser cutting machine. Bauer is only the third <br />company in the U.S, to install this new machine. <br />Bauer Welding was founded in 1946 and has been operating <br />in Mounds View since 1977. The company provides high <br />speed CNC tube bending, tubular laser coding, metal <br />stamping and robotic welding for snowmobiles, personal <br />watercraft, playground equipment, exercise equipment, <br />motor homes, utility vehicles, grounds keeping equipment, <br />tractors, aver the road refrigeration equipment and <br />generators Oust to name a few). <br />Please RSVP by 11/4/2013 to Heidi Steinmetz at <br />heidi.steinmet,Pci.mounds-view.mn. us <br />or 763-7117-4029. <br />MOUND7S V 3V <br />Mounds View is celebrating Minnesota <br />Manufacturers Week on Tuesday, November <br />5, 2013 at 8:30am by coordinating a tour of <br />local manufacturer Bauer Welding (see <br />invitation). The tour is a way to draw public <br />awareness to the importance of manufacturing <br />to Mounds View's economy. <br />Those invited to the tour are Mounds View City <br />Council members, the Economic Development <br />Commission, the Planning Commission, <br />Mounds View manufacturers, the Twin Cities <br />North Chamber and local newspaper <br />representatives. RSVPs for the tour are due to <br />the City on Monday, November 4, 2013. <br />
