To assist me in the review, the City has provided a job <br />descriptions detailing the essential duties and expectations each job. Per our prior discussion, <br />I am recommending that you revise the title from HR Technician to Human Resources <br />Specialist, HR Generalist, HR Representative or HR Coordinator. These titles are more <br />generally accepted as comparable titles for jobs with your stated job expectations. The title of <br />HR Technician suggests you are looking for a paraprofessional support position in HR. <br />However, your job description is requiring a BA/BS and 2 years experience in Human <br />Resources , Personnel Administration or closely related field and the duties involve <br />administering performance management, administration of the classification system, <br />monitoring programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and providing assistance in <br />other City activities.
