Swearing-in of Officer Sydney Dison. <br />Police Chief Harder introduced newly hired Police Officer Sydney Dison to the City Council and <br />administered the Oath of Office to Officer Dison. A round of applause was offered by all in <br />attendance. <br />Mayor Mueller and the City Council welcomed Officer Dison to the Mounds View Police <br />Department. <br />B. Resolution 8856, a Resolution Canvassing Election Results of the November <br />7, 2017 Election. <br />Finance Director Beer reviewed the results from the November 7th election and requested the <br />Council adopt a Resolution that would canvass the election results. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8856, a <br />Resolution Canvassing Election Results of the November 7, 2017 Election. <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked the residents of Mounds View for offering their support to <br />the referendum to hire an additional police officer. <br />Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />C.
