Memberships Accomplishments or Other Qualifications: • Current Mounds View Economic Development Commissioner (started in 2017) • American Planning Association member • Minnesota Chapter of American Planning Association member • Certified Planner, American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) • Veteran, United States Navy, 1992 —1998 Please state your reason for wanting to serve with this group: I have served as a Mounds View Economic Development Commissioner since the beginning of 2017. I have enjoyed serving on the commission and hope to continue for another term. My wife Heather and I have lived in Mounds View for over 10 years. Mounds View has provided us an affordable place to raise two sons in a city with great schools and a high quality of life. We've developed friendships with neighbors, and the surrounding businesses and services (e.g. parks, Mounds View Community Center, library, etc.) have helped us meet the day-to-day needs of a busy family. This has been a good place for us to live. I'd like to give something back if my skills and interests could be of any use. Also, I'm interested in learning more about my city.
