RESOLUTION 8874 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Approving the Purchase of a Meter Reader and Software <br />WHEREAS, in 2007, the City transitioned to Neptune meter radios and purchased a <br />meter reader to read the water meters for quarterly utility billing; and <br />WHEREAS, the reader is now obsolete and no longer functional; and <br />WHEREAS, Ferguson Waterworks is our current supplier of Neptune equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, Ferguson Waterworks has provided a quote for the reader, software, <br />and training not to exceed $8,300; and <br />WHEREAS, this is a 2018 budget item and is included in the Water and Sanitary <br />Sewer funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes Staff to purchase a Neptune meter reader, software, and training not to exceed <br />$8,300 as presented in the attached quote. <br />Adopted this 11th day of December, 2017 <br />Carol A.
