Mounds View City Council December 11, 2017 <br />Regular Meeting Page 14 <br />1 Police Chief Harder thanked Council Member Bergeron and Council Member Meehlhause for <br />2 attending the New American's Academy. He commented on the presentations that would be <br />3 made at the final two sessions. He thanked Maggie and Rayla for finalizing the candidates for <br />4 the police assistance position. He noted Shop with a Cop would be held on Monday, December <br />5 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. <br />6 <br />7 Public Works Director Peterson stated the 2017 sewer lining project was ongoing. He noted the <br />8 Area I Street and Improvement Project was being closed out. He provided the Council with an <br />9 update on the work occurring at the Public Works Facility and noted a tour would be held on <br />10 Tuesday, January 2nd at 5:00 p.m. He reported the Public Works Supervisor position would be <br />I l posted on Tuesday, December 121H <br />12 <br />13 Interim City Administrator Zikmund provided the Council with an update on the City's new <br />14 website. He stated the Fire Board was looking for nominations to serve on their Board and <br />15 requested recommendations from the Council. He commented on Code Official Jacob Martin <br />16 who passed his Limited Building Official exam. <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Mueller thanked Jacob Martin for this great work on behalf of the community. <br />19 <br />20 Council Member Meehlhause thanked Interim City Administrator Zikmund for his leadership <br />21 and service to the City. <br />22 <br />23 Mayor Mueller encouraged all those interested in serving on the Festival in the Park Committee <br />24 or the 60th Anniversary Committee to contact City Hall for further information. <br />25 <br />26 C. Reports of City Attorney. <br />27 <br />28 City Attorney Riggs had nothing additional to report. <br />29 <br />30 11.
