Mounds View City Council November 27, 2017 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />1 month given the fact a professional service was hired to provide minutes. <br />2 <br />3 Mayor Mueller encouraged Interim City Administrator Zikmund to reach out to TimeSaver Off - <br />4 Site Secretarial regarding this concern. <br />5 <br />6 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution <br />7 8863, Approving the Recording Secretary Service Agreement Amendment with TimeSaver Off - <br />8 Site Secretarial, Inc. <br />9 <br />10 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />11 <br />12 7. PUBLIC COMMENT <br />13 <br />14 Robin Howard, Social Worker at Pinewood Elementary School, discussed two items with the <br />15 Council. She stated she was hosting a dinner discussion at the Mounds View Community Center <br />16 for Pinewood Elementary families on Thursday, December 7"'. She invited the City Council to <br />17 attend and participate in this event. She commented on the Pinewood Learning Support and <br />18 Family Welcome Center and described the mission for this group. She asked if the City Council <br />19 would be interested in being a part of the welcome package being offered by the welcome center. <br />20 <br />21 Mayor Mueller encouraged Ms. Howard to speak with Interim City Administrator Zikmund <br />22 regarding the welcome package situation. She encouraged Ms. Howard to reach out to the <br />23 Ramsey County Library as well. <br />24 <br />25 8. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />26 <br />27 None. <br />28 <br />29 9. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />30 A. 6:05 p.m. Public Hearing: to Consider a Street Reconstruction Project <br />31 located in the Business Park North to be Assessed Pursuant to Chapter 8 of <br />32 the City Charter. <br />33 <br />34 Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council consider a street reconstruction project <br />35 located in the Business Park North which would be assessed pursuant to Chapter 8 of the City <br />36 Charter. He discussed the findings from the recent soil borings and noted these roadways were <br />37 constructed originally in 1974. He reviewed the recommendations for the reconstruction project <br />38 and explained the majority of the curbing would remain intact. Staff reported this project would <br />39 be paid for through City funds and assessments. Further discussion ensued regarding the project <br />40 timeline. <br />41 <br />42 Mayor Mueller requested staff describe the project area in further detail for the public. Public <br />43 Works Director reviewed the roadways included within the proposed improvement project. <br />44 <br />45 Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 6:26 p.m. <br />
