RESOLUTION 8895 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ON -SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR <br />NEW VISION THEATRES FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2430 MOUNDS VIEW <br />DRIVE, MOUNDS VIEW 15 THEATER <br />WHEREAS, Charles Alan Goldwater of New Vision Theatres has applied for an <br />on -sale intoxicating liquor license for the Mounds View 15 Theater; and. <br />WHEREAS, on September 25, 2017, the City Council adopted ordinance 938 <br />revising Municipal Code Section 502 allowing movie theaters to qualify for an on -sale liquor <br />license; and <br />WHEREAS, the ordinance went into effect on November 6, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant has submitted all required application materials and paid <br />the appropriate fees; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant is current on property taxes and City fees; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has published notice of a public hearing in the official City <br />newspaper and mailed notices as required; and, <br />WHEREAS, no comments have been received regarding this requested license. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve an on -sale intoxicating liquor license for New Vision Theatres for the <br />property located at 2430 Mounds View Boulevard, legally known as Lot 3, Block 2 Anthony <br />Properties, subject to satisfactory Building Official and Fire Marshal inspections. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this license shall expire on <br />June 30, 2018. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of January, 2018. <br />Carol A.
