DRAFT <br />Mounds View Planning Commission <br />Regular Meeting <br />February 17,2016 <br />Page 5 <br />Chair Stevenson did not anticipate the City would have very many PUD's to consider given the <br />fact there was not a large number of vacant five (5) acre parcels in the community. He was <br />comfortable with the proposed code amendment. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Rundle/Commissioner French. To approve Resolution <br />1044-16, a Resolution recommending approval of a code amendment to Chapter 1120 of the <br />Zoning Code, pertaining to PUD's. <br />Ayes — 7 <br />Reports <br />Nays — 0 <br />A. Upcoming Planning Cases & Activity <br />Planner Sevald indicated he had not upcoming Planning Cases at this time. <br />B. Staff Updates <br />Planner Sevald had no update from staff. <br />C. Council Updates <br />Motion carried. <br />Council Member Meehlhause provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He reported Gordy and Paul Fedor had been appointed Citizens of the Year. He <br />indicated the Fedors would be recognized at the upcoming Town Hall meeting. He explained the <br />Area I Street Improvement Project was sent out for bid. It was noted Area I would be completed <br />over two years, given the size and scope of the project. He commented Police Chief Kinney has <br />announced his retirement and the Council has amended the job description and authorized the <br />hiring. <br />D. Planning Commissioner Reports <br />None. <br />8. Approval of Minutes <br />February 3, 2016. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Klebsch/Commissioner Schiltgen.
