MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1017-14 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTS TO <br />CHAPTER 1116 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE ABOUT <br />INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT USES; SPECIAL PLANNING CASE 191-14 <br />WHEREAS, City staff has recommended that amendments be made to the <br />industrial zoning code relating to uses; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission agrees with the City Staff <br />recommendation to allow additional uses in industrial districts; and, <br />WHEREAS, City staff has amended Chapter 1116, Section 1116.02 of the <br />Mounds View City Code by deleting the stnsken language and adding the underlined <br />text as follows: <br />Section 1116.02 Permitted Uses <br />1116.02: PERMITTED USES: The following are permitted uses in an 1-1 District: <br />Adult establishments as defined and regulated in Chapter 513 of the Municipal Code. <br />(Ord. 574, 5-13-96) <br />Blacksmith, welding or other metal shop. <br />Building materials sales yards, retail lumber yard, contractors equipment sales and rentals, <br />storage and sale of food, and fuel not for resale. <br />Essential services. <br />Flammable liquids: Above ground storage not to exceed a total of eight hundred (800) <br />gallons; underground bulk storage not to exceed twenty five thousand (25,000) gallons if <br />located not less than fifty feet (50') from a residential district. (Amended, Ord. 830, 9-3-09) <br />Foundry casting lightweight nonferrous metals or electric foundry not causing noxious <br />fumes or odors. <br />Golf Course. (Added, Ord. 721, 10-13-03) <br />Governmental and public utility building and structures. <br />Greenhouses and nurseries. <br />Laboratories, experimental, film and/or testing. <br />
