The EDA or City may acquire property by gift, dedication, <br />condemnation or direct purchase from willing sellers in order to achieve the <br />objectives of this TIF Plan. Such acquisitions will be undertaken only when there is <br />assurance of funding to finance the acquisition and related costs. <br />G. Estimate of Costs <br />The estimate of public costs associated with the tax increment financing redevelopment <br />district are outlined in the line item budget in Appendix E. <br />The amount of capitalized interest identified in the budget will be equal to an amount <br />sufficient to pay interest on the bonds from the date of issue until the date of collection of <br />sufficient tax increment revenue to meet scheduled interest payments when due, but not <br />exceeding 3 years as required by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 475.
