RESOLUTION 8956 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING STANTEC CONSULTING SERVICES TO <br />COMPLETE A DRAINAGE SUBDISTRICT ANALYSIS AT 2255 LAMBERT AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, The City Council had approved resolutions for stormwater improvement work <br />at 2255 Lambert Avenue at the June 27, 2016 and the October 24, 2016 Council meetings; and, <br />WHEREAS, the work performed in the past did not take into account the area drainage of <br />stormwater from neighboring properties; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Current owner at 2255 Lambert Avenue has met with several City Staff <br />members and with two Council members in order to resolve the current situation; and, <br />WHEREAS, The City Council directed Staff to look into finding a solution for this problem; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Staff has received a proposal from Stantec Engineering Services to perform <br />an area drainage analysis for the properties around 2255 Lambert Avenue. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City Council accept the proposal from Stantec Consulting Services to perform a <br />drainage subdistrict analysis at 2255 Lambert Avenue which includes 5 tasks: <br />1) Data Collection <br />2) Site Survey <br />3) Stormwater analysis <br />4) Summery and Technical memo <br />5) Verification of site survey <br />2. Estimated cost for the analysis is $9,000.00 the costs for this storm sewer work will be <br />paid from the Storm Water Fund (745-4415-3030). <br />The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this Resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized and <br />directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in <br />order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 14th day of May 2018. <br />Carol A.
