1112.01 <br />CHAPTER 1112 <br />B-1, NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />SECTION: <br />1112.01: <br />Propose <br />1112.02: <br />Permitted Uses <br />1112.03: <br />Accessory Uses <br />1112.04: <br />Conditional Uses <br />1112.05: <br />Interim Uses (Added, Ord. 735, 5-10-04) <br />1112.03 (Rev. 5/04) <br />1112.01: PURPOSE: The purpose of the B-1, Neighborhood Business District is to provide <br />for the establishment of local centers for convenient, limited office, retail or service outlets which <br />deal directly with the customer for whom the goods or services are furnished. These centers are to <br />provide services and goods for the surrounding neighborhoods and are not intended to draw <br />customers from the entire community. (1988 Code §40.16) <br />1112.02: PERMITTED USES: The following are permitted uses in a B-1 District: <br />Barber shops <br />Beauty parlors <br />Convenience grocery stores (not supermarket type) <br />Essential services <br />Laundromat, self-service washing and drying. (1988 Code §40.16) <br />1112.03: ACCESSORY USES: The following are permitted accessory uses in a B-1 <br />District: <br />Subd. 1. Commercial or business buildings and structures for a use accessory to the principal use, <br />but such use shall not exceed thirty percent (301/o) of the gross floor space of the principal <br />use. <br />Subd. 2. Off-street parking as regulated by Chapter 1121 of this Title but not including semi- <br />trailer trucks. <br />0 <br />
