RESOLUTION 8975 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING FUTURE MAINTENANCE OF NEW TRAIL ON LONG LAKE ROAD IN <br />COORDINATION OF ROAD IMPROVEMENTS BY RAMSEY COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County will be performing road maintenance on Long Lake Road <br />from County Road H2 to County Road J, and; <br />WHEREAS, The County will be placing a new trail segment on the North side of Long <br />Lake Road from Eastwood Road to County Road J. <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is requesting that the City Council approve, with a resolution, <br />future maintenance responsibilities. Maintenance includes, but not limited to: <br />1. Snow removal <br />2. Pavement maintenance <br />3. Bituminous patching <br />4. Surface maintenance <br />5. Tree trimming <br />6. Grass and lawn maintenance next to the trail. <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is requesting the City of Mounds View provide, by a <br />resolution to support to fund future maintenance of the trail section on Long Lake Road from <br />Eastwood Road to County Road J. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />The City Council of the City of Mounds View agrees to fund future maintenance <br />needs for the trail segment on Long Lake Road from Eastwood Road to County Road <br />J. <br />The City Council also understands maintenance includes, but is not limited to, snow <br />removal, pavement maintenance, bituminous patching, surface maintenance, tree <br />trimming mowing and lawn maintenance next to the trail. <br />Adopted this 29th day of May, 2018 <br />ATTEST: zkV1q11 Uc-W%ezv' <br />Carol A.
